“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

In the AM the dream instantly reminded me of an almost completely different opposite dream, a nightmare that I had just about the time my eye troubles and other difficulties began in earnest: It was in the spring when I was doing James. Frank was doing construction on the porches then, too, and I was worried about the Gallery-of-Silence people bugging Prentice and me. In the nightmare a doctor said I’d have to get a certain shot or vaccine as preventative medicine though he regretted having to do it. I was terrified and ran though he said it was for my own good. They caught me and gave me the shot, mentioning something about aftereffects. In last night’s dream I wasn’t frightened, just refused and gave my reasons. (I think the idea was that increased symptoms were “preventive” medicine against a greater feared event or condition....)

This morning Frank’s brother began work on new construction—enclosing the porch (the opposite too in a way from before). I felt somewhat better all over this AM....mentally more ambitious or something and moved to back patio studio.

[...] I’m not getting this clear but the feeling was like you’re supposed to demonstrate truth through your life and my symptoms sort of were the opposite, or indicated the opposite; not only didn’t I heal others but not even myself. [...]

The effect of opposites results, then, from a lack of perception. Since you must operate within the world as you perceive it, then the opposites will appear to be conditions of existence. [...] You are being taught, and you are teaching yourselves to handle energy, to become conscious cocreators with All That Is, and one of the “stages of development” or learning processes includes dealing with opposites as realities.

I do not mean to imply that you necessarily deal with opposite kinds of behaviors, for there are endless variances — each unique — as consciousness expresses itself through physical sensation, and attempts to explore all of the possible realms of emotional, spiritual, biological, and mental existence.
