There are some things that I do not believe you clearly understand. To me, a thought is an action. It is as valid a reality. There is no basic difference between telepathy and clairvoyance, as you term them. The emotional feelings connected with an item are as real to me as the item itself. It is these emotional charges that are interpreted, and finally translated into physical terms.

In other words, the emotional charges allow me to hunt for the item that you want me to identify. I do not begin with the item and reach outward. I identify first of all with the emotional realities, for these are the only basic realities to me. Then I form these into my interpretations of the item itself.

Now. You form your dreams on many levels, as you know. In some of them you spread your own root assumptions outward, creating dream images based upon these assumptions. I must use these assumptions in interpreting our data during experiments. If you give me for example a card that was sent with love, then the love is far more real to me than the card. I follow these emotional charges most minutely, using great discrimination in order to let myself be led to the specific object.

[...] Now basically the original intensity of the charge determines its duration in your time structure. The intensity of particular charges can completely reorganize the personality structure through changes in the RNA formations. (Long pause at 9:10.) Previous life memories, existing electronically and magnetically, may carry such intense charge that they superimpose themselves in the present physical structure, and form memory patterns quite alien to those of the present ego personality.

The charge alone you see is not sufficient enough to initiate such symptoms, but it is strong enough to feed a steadily diminishing continuance of them unless changes are made, and you are making them. The vacation would have automatically given you freedom from these daily charged items of environment, allowing the symptoms to break up completely without the added resistance.

So does the personality, through negative charges, cause boundaries to be set about its own emotional system. It will accept most readily those thoughts and emotions, or electric actions, which attract it, which have a similarity to its own charged emotional climate; and it will have greater resistance to those which have the greatest dissimilarities. Some of these feelings have indeed led you to a strongly charged attitude in some (underlined) cases, a bit out of proportion. (Humorously.) This is not to say that one of you is completely right and the other completely wrong, but I will tell you this: you can count upon Ruburt to recognize immediately and intuitively cases of such overly charged behavior on your part.

He thinks of this place in terms of a dwelling rather than as land, but because his attitude is not charged and because he does love land, he is able to enjoy what land there is. [...]
